I Learned This the Hard Way — Same Patterns, New Driver

I LEARNED THIS THE HARD WAY.

There was a time in my life when I thought changing my circumstances would change me.

Different job. Different people. Different excuse. Same patterns.

Eventually I had to face a truth I didn’t want to hear: Wherever I went, I took me with me.

Jesus didn’t just change where I was headed. He started changing the man behind the wheel.

That’s still the work today.

Tell the truth. Own what is mine. Stay in my lane. Get right before I roll. Take the next right step.

I’m not finished. But thank God I’m not the man I used to be.
