D.E.I. — Didn’t Earn It | GRDR Parable

This isn’t about politics. It’s about grace.

A man stood before God carrying a résumé full of good deeds.

“I worked hard. I helped people. I went to church. I tried to do right.”

But none of it could make him righteous.

Then he looked at the cross and finally understood: He didn’t earn it. Neither did I.

I am not righteous because I am better than somebody else. I am not righteous because I worked harder, behaved better, gave more, went to church more, or cleaned myself up enough.

I am righteous only because of what Jesus Christ did at the cross.

That is the Gospel.

Grace reaches every tribe, every tongue, every background, every color, every class, and every story—not because any of us earned our place, but because Jesus paid the price.

The ground at the foot of the cross is level.

I didn’t earn it. You didn’t earn it. Jesus did it.

Get Right before you try to Do Right. Identity first. Action second. Jesus first.
