Can’t Never Could — Till the Road Ends

CAN’T NEVER COULD.

A man reached the end of a road and stopped.

“No way through,” he said.

An older man walked up carrying a shovel.

“No finished road,” he answered. “That’s different.”

They didn’t charge blindly into the rocks. They prayed, checked the ground, and asked for good counsel. Then the man called his friends.

One brought a shovel.
One brought a pick.
One brought the encouragement somebody else needed.

The mountain didn’t move that morning.
But the first rock did.

Sometimes we call a dream impossible when we’ve reached the part that requires work.

Get Right: Pray. Face the facts. Check your direction.
Do Right: Pick up the shovel. Take the next right step. Help somebody move theirs.

Excellence is the standard—even when nobody is cheering.

We go till the road ends.
Then we build a road, friends.
